Or at least the linked Youtube clip, that's the relevant part. Assuming I have Larry's name right...
Speaking of the episode in question, Dan Harmon deserves props for knowing how not to run a concept into the ground. Last week, I was wondering when they'd go to Interdimensional Cable again, which is pretty much my least favorite recurring R&M issue (Justin Roiland's stammering, obviously-improvised monologues leave me cold, and that's basically all that Interdimensional Cable is; I actually liked Jerry's storyline better than most of the skits in IdC2), and this was apparently the episode, but they did it much better. Harmon did the same thing with paintball episodes in Community. Big hit the first season, steered into it the second season, and then merely referenced it in season 3 when "Community" did their version of the "clip show with clips you've never seen before". When the Sanderson-eaque new writing team did Season 4, they had a paintball episode that was so bad it seems to have gotten them fired. Harmon came back and did a fresher version of Community in s5 using floor lava instead, and then brought back paintball in a creative new way in the last season.
I was concerned that while Harmon has more than earned my trust, the IdC concept seemed to be a Roiland vanity project, and had no faith that the show would know it was time to move away, not having any knowledge of the dynamics of the creative team. Way to go, guys.
