I'd get the Aes Sedai 'out there'. I'd make sure that 1/3 of AS were in the Tower at any stage, and 2/3 outside of the Tower.

Grays - diplomacy in foreign goverments
Blues - random tasks assigned by the Sitters
Yellows - clinics in major cities, and research into diseases
Brown - research collection, heading up universities
Whites - help the Browns
Greens - fight in borderland armies against the Shadow
Reds - sole purpose is to work alongside the Black Tower. This includes helping one another, trading information, and research into saidin and saidar.

I'd also remove the three Oaths, but that's me. Egwene is against that policy.


I'd say the purpose of Whites is to establish the society of people to counterbalance the Light. :P

In serious note, I don't think Whites need to be lowered to helping role. I'd rather think they are more academic than Browns. I would say that Browns need to be in charge of education in general (libraries, schools, etc.) and Whites need to be in charge of academic education (like universities).
