As for the issues behind your post, well, I'm in strong agreement with Kory. Fairness is a beautiful goal, and one that should be strived for at all costs. But, "fairness" must actually be fair for everyone involved for it to actually work.

I guess part of me is a dreamer......I want fairness, and I will never understand why some people don't. Or, worse, why they ask for fairness, then give a list of things they "deserve" to make things fair *shakes head*.

So, don't worry about whether or not you fit into a particular label or group. You are intelligent, forward thinking and groovy. That's a great thing.
