She was very sad, because it was the kind of morning meant for playing outside. And here she was cooped up in this stuffy box - it was no fun at all. Jennica sighed, and tried to deal with the situation as best she could. Dying was an important event. It should be better than just lying around. She thought she saw an angel, but it was just a bug crawling on the inside of her box. She squished it.
"God?" she said out loud. "If you're really God, that is. If you're not, it's awfully rude of you to listen in on personal calls like this. Anyway, God, I was wondering if you could speed this up a little. Dying isn't half as fun as I thought it would. I hope you have a waterslide in Heaven."
God didn't answer. Somewhat miffed, Jennica pushed open the lid of the coffin and crawled out, and only then did the manager notice her. He came over, sputtering.
"Tell God the dead need waterslides," she told him as she walked out of the building. "I don't think he heard me."
