Thought about it, well yes (not old enough yet. . .) but I probably won't do it anyway.

Heh, boy scouts for about two years. I hated it, (had to HELP people! *gasp* ) and I dropped out.

Do you think a regimented and ordered life would be hard to follow?

No, I really don't. In fact, it might be kinda nice. . .depends on exactly how strict you are with the regimented and ordered thing.

Do you think soldiers shouldn't bother with the actual thinking part of war? Or does it really matter as long as they do the job?

Soldiers should all be able to think for themselves, but they shouldn't try to improvise any time they see a chance. Generally, the high ranking officer people get to the point they're at by being smarter than the other guys. So the soldiers should listen to them.

Why would someone JOIN the army to begin with? To be a hero? To be regularly paid? WHAT? tell me.

Well, the only reason I would consider doing it is to get them to pay some (or all. . .do they do that?) or my college fees. You only have to work a limited number of days a year, for several years and then you're done. Wouldn't be a bad way to pay for college. . .still, not for me I think.
