and have really given the world nothing new. The attempt to link Iraq with terrorism most certainly isnt proven.

?? Straw man, it would seem. Of course, you must mean "The attempt to link Iraq with Al Qaeda" Right? Do you not know that he pays the families of suicide bombers $25k? And 'non-suicide' martyrs $10k?

osama bin laden is not saddam. Did I need to tell you that?

You can say it over and over and over again if you like. I don't know what I've said that it's a relevant response to, but knock yourself out.

Why does bin Laden hate America?
Bin Laden and other militant Islamist leaders issued a 1998 manifesto denouncing the presence of American troops in Saudi Arabia, U.S. support of Israel, and sanctions against Iraq.

(see link, as if you didn't already know this )

1) Sanctions against Iraq to keep him from becoming a threat to the world, which you support.

2) We're in Saudi because of Hussein's belligerance.

Seems to me that we can take care of 2/3 of these 'terrorist recruiting' issues through regime change in Iraq. Some of our 'allies', knowing that they aren't being targetted because of the sanctions, are perfectly willing to let it continue indefinitely.
