Plus four in one year might be a statistical anomoly or might be indicative of something else. More importantly is the overall picture of what is happening around the world. To that extent I agree with you, but what the people might actually think about what occurs is also importnat and they might just put this into a particular pattern of worldwide events.
In fact the real problem both you and Mierin appear to be making is lookign at this one issue in isolation.
