1. How many parents do you have?

I've got 2 sort of 3 parents. There's my mother and my father, and then I've got a kind of surrogate father, whom I've known since I was 3 years old. He's also Vijay's honorary grandfather.

2. Are they married? How do you feel about that?

My parents are married, have been married for almost 34 years. I feel ok about it. There were good times, there were bad times. But I am proud that they have been able to stick together through it all.

3. How do you feel about how they raised you/are raising you?

Well, I'd like to think that they're done raising me. I see things they did right and I see things they did wrong. But I've been an adult for long enough to feel that whatever flaws I have now are my own responsibility.

4. Are you a parent?

Yup.. have been a mother for more than 3 1/2 years now. Wow.

5. Were your parents old or young when they had you?

My mother was 34 and my father 32 when they had me. So it's not young, but also not extremely old.

6. Do you like your parents?

They have their quirks, but they are very sweet and generous and very loving grandparents.
