When I first walked into the bookstore here and saw the prices ... excalibur - 28/04/2004 06:29:52 PM

I nearly had a heart attack. My surprise was further increased when I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere, apart from Amazon UK.

I'm just starting my Master's. I just paid $136.00 for a Calculus book!

I feel your pain. What is your masters in?

I am going to try this. If it works out, I will forever send good thoughts to your Liverpool football team!

You should send good thoughts to Liverpool anyway .

It has always worked for me. It used to only take a week for the books to arrive, but the past couple of times it has taken 3 weeks. I guess they have tightened up security measures or something. But if you need them by a certain date make sure you order in advance. The books always arrive too, even when they have big "Do not sell in the USA" stickers on them, and customs have opened them. Its best to order books together rather than individually as you can save a bit on shipping.

You should check out Amazon CA too - sometimes they have books at a similar price to the UK but you should get them a little quicker (takes about 9 days). The good thing about Amazon is that if you log in with your normal email address they should remember all your details even if you are on a different country's site.
