Am I crazy? Most people I talk to say that Mexican is one of the hardest dialects to learn/understand, yet I picked it up really quickly. People say it's because my Grandmother is Mexican, but she speaks a crazy mezcla. Meh. I am crazy.

And remember that I'm more used to hearing puertorriqueño, colombiano, y cubano español que méxicano...or something like that. It's often difficult for me to listen to Univision when the Mexican programs are on, yet oddly enough Cuban is easier for me despite the clipped endings, probably because I taught so many Cubans for my two years in South Florida.
