that's often the problem for some people. Some of my friends would complain because they couldn't tell if the Mexicans were accenting something or not.

But that only applies in certain parts. One of my mother's friends is a great guy named Gabriel, and I think he's from a coastal town. Where he's from everyone drops certain sounds entirely. Instead of Donde esta? It's 'Onde eta? It's a bit freaky...
