But then, I moved around alot as a kid and my parents have different natural accents from each other. I had to adopt new accents when I moved so that kinda comes naturally to me.

Maybe it makes learning a new language easier if you're that way...I tend to do very well when learning the pronunciations of a new language, even when they have sounds that English doesn't have...

Yeah... I still find picking up any Germanic languages hard. The sounds just don't sound right to me. I guess if I had to I could learn them. I even started to pick some up while reading a few books that use german in with the English.

Did you see the passion of the christ? I ask because the Spanish (and other romance language) speakers I know who saw it say they began to understand the latin pretty early on in the movie. I was wondering you had.
