Okay one of the main reasons why gays have begun to push for marriage is the ability to get health insurance/medical benefits. Pharmaceutical prices have gone up and its very difficult to purchase medicine without health insurance. Plus Medicare only goes so far. So if gays can get married they can get their partner's medical benefits. This is not good because since AIDS tends to affect homosexuals more than heterosexular couples. Thus health insurance companies will have to pay for AIDS medications (like I said very exspensive). Since there is no cure for AIDS the person with AIDS will die so the insurance companies will pay for that person. The insurance companies can't deny people with AIDS coverage (civil rights violation) so they will lose money either way. This goes for companies who employ homosexuals too.

Basically gay marriage=money loss for health insurance and any corporation.
