sure it's a bit simple, it's not so complex, it's your basic journeying adventure novel, but i still like it

it's revealing a nice bit of dragon history, the nature of elderlings and stuff. all in all i think it is inferior to farseer and livership traders and she's starting to do the same things over and over. i'd like to see her do something more than just character development

also i really liked the soldier son trilogy
