He's a funny little guy. The cover art grabbed him, believe it or not. StormCrow Send a noteboard - 09/06/2010 03:12:05 PM
If enough people express interest, I'll look at starting one in July or so.

My 4 year old wanted me to read the series to him and we're about 50% through GoF, so I don't have much choice!

Course, he asked for Deadhouse Gates next. Don't think I'll go there...

Kid has good taste, clearly. Although, er, isn't the later half of the HP series slightly dark for a 4 year old? It's not Deadhouse Gates, but still...

He got really excited when he got to pick up Toll the Hounds for me with mom at Barnes and Noble. He asked mommy what the big dog and the guy with the axe were doing when she grabbed it and drew a bunch of attention to her in the store. All my later gifts have come from Amazon.

I'm reading him almost the entire book each time. I'm doing some selective editing on swearing and some of the more gruesome scenes from Harry Potter. One or two chapters a night, right before bed and so far no nightmares!
