There are many books I have bought on the recommendations of people whos opinions I have come to respect and who I found had similar tastes. There are many books that I would never would have heard of or tried except someone here that I cared about said I (or we) might like it. And a few times I took a risk based solely on a well written review by someone that I didn't really know or care about and was pleasantly suprised. But most of the treasures were found because I knew enough about someone here to know I would probably like what they recommended.
Good post, Tom.

Twiglight sounds like a glowing tree, which is of course freaking awesome. I will write this book.
