Keep the authors in it a deathly secret, start an ARG for people to figure out who will be in it

(ARG= Alternate Reality Game, blurs line between the game and reality)
So... start a website. Make it a blog, ostensibly someone's blog about making birdfeeders or something. Pepper it with hints that the creator just makes birdfeeders in his spare time, and really is a peon in the World's Best Fantasy monolithic machine.
Hint at a dark conspiracy.
Use codes, clues, links to other websites, so that people can slowly learn who the authors are going to be in the book (and perhaps the titles?)
Oh, and get it started off by making a cool/overblown Youtube book trailer like Terry Goodkind always does... and at the end of it, with no explanation, just put www.feedthebirds.net or something.

Put Ellen on the cover. Runs risk of suit, but probably gets you on her show either way. *NM*
