The other people in the airfield pond Camilla Send a noteboard - 15/06/2010 03:04:01 PM
I don't mean the found thousand, but the scary other people coming out of the pond of stuff in the airfield. What were they? How do they tie in with the narrator?

I am still a little unsure about that bit.

They scared me a lot. I am thinking about Ben Carsville and Ruth Kemner (had she been in the pond or was she just naturally nuts? Both? I don't remember.)

The scene of Carsville fighting with himself, and then something not really Carsville coming out of the pond leads me to think that somethink similar to what happened to Gonzo happened there -- the implication being that everyone has a double being. Although it had been established that Carsville had an image of himself which did not entirely overlap with himself as he was (I am thinking of the gas attack moment).

Thoughts?

And who was the gasmasked orange person? I have a feeling I missed something there.
