you could do a better job of describing your wine. Much more specific than simply, "a nice Bordeaux." One would hope it was at least one of the five Cru Classé and not, God forbid, a Cru Bourgeois or worse, unclassified. Even better, specify the AOC. Was it a Pauillac? A Saint-Julien? A Pomerol? A Margaux? What vintage?

You have barely scratched the surface of pretentiousness, when it comes to wine.
