They grow up. nossy Send a noteboard - 22/06/2010 10:05:37 PM
I didn't get hooked at first, and really didn't like the paragraphy descriptions of new characters (among other things), but now my dumbass is staying up until 4AM to finish them- work be damned. *glares at mapthis*

Plus, I like silly. It doesn't bother me that it fits comfortably into the stereotypes at times. Many of the characters feel Chicago-esque, which I also like. They are comfort books with actual plots and personalities, and semi-historical (mythologically) angles. I love them.

The first book really isn't a good example of the series. - 22/06/2010 04:27:45 PM 370 Views

I think the only way I would continue is if those "hints" are promising enough for me. - 22/06/2010 05:19:06 PM 379 Views
Which is the way that it should be. - 22/06/2010 07:22:42 PM 321 Views
