I already got out The Beautiful and the Damned and am about 50 pages into that. Even though so little happens in Fitzgerald's books, I still find them oddly satisfying.


I'm not sure why I like them, though. The writing isn't stellar, and, as you say, not a great deal happens. And yet. Hmmm.
