Is the one by Virgil one of the Loeb Classical books? I have a Classicist friend that fantasizes about having the entire collection in her library some day....which I don't understand, because the Loeb translations are so out of date, and they stamped Victorian prudish thought all over the classics, and removed all of the "racy" parts. She's an odd one.
There was a used bookstore by me that had all sorts of leather-bound books for 5 dollars here. I'm glad I was broke when they were open, as I only bought a couple of tomes, instead of their entire collection.

Your criticism is very true, although their prosody is exquisite. *NM*
