(I won this book in a giveaway at this site, and the condition for the giveaway was to make a review on the site.
I'm not very good at these things, but anyway, here goes: )

Blonde Bombshell is a comedy/scifi novel about Earth (also known as Dirt), the alien planet ?????, an interplanetary missile, the computer genius Lucy Pavlov, the ex-scientist, bank security manager and alcoholic George Stechkin, and two not-werewolves.

The alien planet is suffering from radio transmissions originating from Earth; music causes the aliens to go crazy. So therefore, they decide that Earth must be destroyed and send a very powerful missile to destroy it. Only, for some unknown reason, Earth is not destroyed, and they send another missile. The second missile, having an advanced artificial intelligence, decides upon arrival to Earth that it first needs to determine why the first one failed, and this is basically where the story begins.

I'm not usually reading comedy, but I found this book to be enjoyable, particularly the second half. The book has short chapters of about 5-10 pages, which I consider a good thing. The PoV/location usually changes between chapters which makes the pace rather high.

I recommend checking out Rebekah's very good review if you are interested in the book.
