I will let you know as soon as I have read it! Tom Send a noteboard - 05/08/2010 09:50:37 PM
I have it on pre-order from amazon (unless I win a copy from the online drawing, in which case I would cancel the pre-order). I'm actually looking forward to this book as much, if not more, than Towers of Midnight (well, sure, I'm dying to know who killed Asmodean but other than that...I think I'm looking forward to this more). Regardless, I will post my thoughts on the book when I finish it.

I had vowed, after the Feast for Crows/Dance with Dragons fiasco, that I would not start reading an unfinished sequential series (series of standalone books being slightly different) ever again. Of course, I broke that rule with Sanderson because I have consistently enjoyed his writing. That, and he seems to write damn fast.

It's strange, but I really liked Warbreaker best, even though it was the slowest getting started. I know most people choose Mistborn (which I loved because it twisted familiar themes in fantasy about ten times suddenly before coming to an end). I just enjoyed the characters (even the villains) best in Warbreaker.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius

Ummaka qinnassa nīk!
