I want to win a copy of this book because of what happened the last time I won a Brandon Sanderson ARC in a contest.

You see, I won a copy of The Well of Ascension through a contest. I was very excited the day it came in the mail. I even skipped class to read the novel in one sitting because Brandon's novels are just that good.

I began the novel and the sparkles caught fire in my stomach. It was a good mix of action and plot with a teaspoon of romance thrown in for flavor. Like a good stew, it got better as it cooked its way to a climax.

Then, a pound of salt got dumped into the marvelous stew-in-the-making. As the story was reaching it's climax, a series of 40 pages was missing. Right when everything was coming together, the story skipped to the epilogue. And to make matters worse...the epilogue was repeated!

It was almost a year before I could finish the novel. Being a very poor college student, I couldn't afford to purchase the novel and had to wait for the local library to get it.

That is why I want a copy of The Way of Kings. I am no longer a poor college student. Now I am an even more poor working stiff who is in need of a good stew.
