Obviously if the publishers say they won't publish it, they won't and that sucks, but maybe she could, I dunno, put it online?
Only with Tor's permission. They'll have exclusive rights to the book for the next few years, until they revert to the author.
But I hope she does. Isn't Paul Kearney's final book in The Sea Beggars Trilogy going to be part of the omnibus, when that happens? Maybe Rawn and Tor could -
Yes, but Paul has had to wait years because Bantam UK won't give up the rights either, and still has a few years to go before the rights revert to him and he can publish the omnibus with Solaris.
