So, who are the authors that consistently do it for you?

You know, when you go to the library or the bookstore without anyone in mind, who is the author or authors that you end up buying and taking home because you know they'll get it right?

I've got a few that jump right to mind.

Brandon Sanderson
Jim Butcher
Daniel Abraham aka MLN Hanover aka James S.A. Corey
Dan Wells
John Brown
Larry Correia
Scott Lynch
Patrick Rothfuss
Neil Gaiman


Some of them are great writers, some of them write total pulp, but it's the kind of pulp I like.

So, what about you guys?
