Just wondering whether you would find it useful for us to post a list of guidelines for reviews. I've seen people comment a few times that they would do reviews of books but don't feel able to because they don't know how it's done.
If we added a page of pointers to the Help section, or stickied it to the top of the Review library, would that make you more comfortable with sharing a review with the Board?
I'd like to caveat this question, however: I don't think there is a specific structure for reviews. People have different ways of doing them, and there is no right or wrong way.
(And it might give you comfort to know that I think every single review I've ever posted on here is rubbish, and I never know how to start, or whether I'm putting across my feelings in a way that makes people want to read a good book or avoid a bad one.)
But if you think that guidelines and advice would encourage you to give it a go then we'd be more than happy to organise this.
