I mostly reread nonfiction, because I apparently don't retain the information well enough at first. *NM* Panorphaeon Send a noteboard - 10/12/2010 07:19:55 PM
I've been doing a lot of rereading recently - both to get me through a highly unpleasant book I've been reading for a month, and because my brain doesn't want to do new stuff.

It's great. I'm still amazed by how much "new" stuff there is in a book I've already read. EM Forster is cleverer than I remembered (and that takes some doing), and Georgette Heyer funnier.

I think Winter is a good season for rereading. It's a literary form of comfort food.
