I just couldn't bring myself to buy one until the cost came down. I'm really glad I waited now.
I'm not too interested in the color e-ink versions, anything I need color for I use my smartphone (MyTouch4G w/CyanogenMod6.2RC0), I've wanted a kindle specifically for the black on white text to mimic a page of a book and ONLY mimic a page of a book.
