1 - Approximately how many books do you read in the average month?

It varies a fair bit. This past year it has reduced a lot, so maybe 1 per week on average? Not counting medicine/science/associated books for Uni.

2 - Of those books, what ratio would be Sci-fi/Fantasy compared with Not SFF? (Ie SFF:NotSFF)

Still not counting work books, 50:50 or close as damn it.

3 - (with credit to Tom) Which of these do you read:
Fantasy

Yes

Sci-fi

Yes

Historical Fiction

Yes

Classics

Yes

Thrillers

Not really

Crime/Mystery

Not really

Other fiction stuff (like Ian McEwan, Kazuo Ishiguro etc)

Occasionally

Non-fiction

Yes

Graphic Novels

Yes

Manga

No

Plays

Not really/very occasionally

Poetry

Occasionally

Short stories (please specify what genre they might belong to)

Yes, usually fantasy/SciFi

Magazines

Very occasionally

Newspapers

Yes

4 - Do you read every day?

Including work books, yes. If not, possibly still yes.

5 - Do you find it easy to discuss the books you read?

Relatively so.

5a - If not, do you know what might make it easier?

6 - Do you buy books as soon as they are published?

Only for a few authors. I have every Pratchett book since The Last Elephant in hardback.

7 - What do you like to see in reviews?

Wit, opinion stated as it is (opinion, not fact) and some reading below the surface of the story but without being snobbish or pretentious (good chance I fail my own criteria)

Thanks.

You're welcome.
Does the Devil ever struggle to be good again, or if so is he not a devil?

What difference does it make after all? Anonymity in the world of men is better than fame in heaven, for what's heaven? What's Earth? All in the mind.
