Most often I'll remember the music that was playing in the background. Or, more exactly, when listening to some music, I'll remember reading X-book to it.

When I do remember where I was when I read a book it's usually because it was somewhere different from my usual reading places, ie on the bus, at my desk at work, in bed or on the couch.
