The only way it's even remotely possible for them to have done that is if they'd written a book for each of the finalists and immediately started printing them the second the winner was announced. At least Pegg's been in the public eye for 15-ish years and has some interesting stories to tell. The biggest problem is that he actually avoids any stories about his time in the limelight, which is a bit odd (unless he's planning a sequel, of course ).
