As a promotional thing for the new Redwall book, ("The Long Patrol" at the time) Jacques' publisher put together a trivia contest. Answer some questions about the series, mail in a form, correct answers get entered into a drawing. Ten people would be selected to get two signed books ("The Long Patrol," and an anniversary edition of "Redwall" ) and a t-shirt. Strangely, I was one of the winners. Made a huge impression on my ten-year-old self. :P I still have both of the books, actually (see below).



Anyway, sorry, just a rambling story. Redwall was pretty important to me, once upon a time, and I'm sorry to hear Jacques is gone. :(
