Hopefully, this will make for a good conversation starter, as I certainly don't expect many to agree with all my choices or the rationales behind them. Care to weigh in with your thoughts?

Quite a lot of those books are pretty popular. Actually I think this list contains much more popular books then I expected from you :P but then it's just heroic fantasy and I noticed you didn't manege to find 10. I've only read Stonewielder and obviously Sapkowski and I like both so I assume the rest is readable too ;).

However, what I really wanted to ask is if you are planning to write reviews of the rest of Sapkowski's books. I've been waiting to read your thoughts about the rest of the series.

It was by the time I was approaching #9 that I began to feel a bit ill and thought it'd be best to stop before I mentioned Alexey Pehov's travesty of a novel, Shadow Prowler xx(

The ones I chose would appeal to quite a few readers, including those who don't typically read much in that subgenre. As for reviewing the final 2/3 Sapkowski books, I just got caught up with a lot of other things that had to be done in November/December, but I do plan on reviewing them before the year is out.


Before year is out. Funny thing to say in February. You could have a child before year is out :P
