When I started Hunt for Red October (this was twenty years ago) I found it interesting but something distracted me about a hundred pages into the book and I never picked it up again. I think that I had a hard time understanding the technical stuff.
Anyway, he is reading Rainbow Six right now. I will be curious to see what he thinks of the following books. Interesting review. Maybe I can finally tempt him into this web site by getting him to answer this. He has really enjoyed the series in the past.
