If yes, how long ago did you (first) read it/them?

Well, the first time I heard them was when my mother read them to me in about 1990 or so, maybe 92. I read them on my own at the age of about 14 or so.

So nice! :D

Do you reread?

Every three or four years or so. I have the paperbacks, carefully laminated to protect them by the teenage me of 1998.

I've just started my collection. Now that I'm far away from my big sister's set it's about time. :P

What's your favourite of his series?

I'm pretty sure that the Belgariad is his best series. Many people will argue that it is, in fact, his ONLY series, since he just re-writes the same story over and over again.

I think The Elenium is his best series. It's a similar story, yes, but it's MUCH more grown up.

That said, I like the Elenium quite a bit as well.

Am glad. :P

Favourite character?

Silk. Is there anyone else? Well, maybe Belgarath, but he's just an old Silk.

Sparhawk. :|

Are the Elenium and Tamuli set in a version of Earth? Or is it a version of the world of the Belgariad and Mallorean?

Never really thought about it. I just assumed it was a different world than the Belgariad and Mallorean.

Just a thought I had on this reread.

No. Never cared to read it, since I rarely read epic fantasies until 13-14 years ago. *NM* - 16/03/2011 09:33:52 PM 739 Views
