now if only Hollywood would have realized what the important message in the book was...instead, they opted for a very crappy/lame/retarded ending.

I just wish they had left the I Am Legend out as the last words. In the book it's an amazingly powerful summation of the entire novel...in the movie it comes off as a confusing and cheesy nod to a book whose plot they mostly disregarded.
