I'm currently reading A Journey Round My Skull, by Frigyes Karinthy, my book by an author from a country which I have not previously read a book by an author from. It's really good so far. I might review it.
I am also still reading The Scientific Revolution edited by Mitchell Young, my History for the Genre Challenge.
When I finish it, I will have technically completed the challenge, although I think I need to read another allegory/parody/satire, as the only one so far was also my Classic for first bi-monthly challenge. I also still plan to read something in Spanish for the bonus one.
Anyway, after those two, I'm planning to read something called The Way of Kings, by Brandon Sanderson.

Surely TKaM is mostly described in a racial tension context, more than "growing up in the South". *NM*
