ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

James Franco appeared on the Colbert Report earlier this week to talk about his new movie Your Highness, and it turned into a Tolkien trivia contest that Stephen won hands down. Behold, one of the few times you'll hear the words "Valinor" and "Silmarils" on cable tv.

The Tolkien part starts around 3:40, but the rest of the interview is pretty funny too.

Some of you might remember Stephen is a big Tolkien fan from the time he interviewed Neil Gaiman and quoted the Tom Bombadil song, and also that time Viggo Mortensen appeared and presented him with Anduril, and that time he corrected CNN on the difference between Satan and a Balrog.

I love Stephen Colbert kind of a lot.
