Have you heard if she built up enough energy to care to finish the last ambrai book? I find it funny that she haven't. ;)


As far as I understand it, Melanie Rawn used to discuss her books with her mother, get feedback etc, and her mother then died after she'd finished Book 2. Rawn was devastated and has not been able to return to the series because she associates it with that painful time in her life.

I think it questionable if the series will ever be finished at this point, since she took ten years to get back to writing and is working on a different world and series altogether.
