I love the Midkemia ones because so many of the characters are utterly endearing (Arutha, Jimmy, Pug, Gamina, etc), but The Empire Trilogy is clever.
Feist's ideas really benefitted from Wurts' superior writing skills.

This trilogy is stand-alone. I didn't read anything else by Feist, and don't care for Wurts
