I said that the last half builds together rather awesomely, as in a process that takes place over time. The last 150 or so pages of the book is awesome, but it builds well to that point over the entire last half.
Actually, I think that I could do with a re-read since as Seriana mentioned there are probably a lot of things whose significance we just weren't aware of the first time around that would give a second reading a whole new level of interest. It occurs to me that it may be remarkably like "Gardens of the Moon" in that respect.
I liked the book even more after a reread.
EDIT: I think the final 1/10th is amazingly awesome, and totally worth the effort to get there.
