I'm generally partial to the class DnD type dragon. Smart, calculating, and very powerful. Prone to hubris that's not all undeserved. Some are evil, some are good. Human-like personalities, but that are just alien enough to humanity to be interesting.
Within the DnD model, I DON'T like how the dragons are so different based on their color. I think it's boring and altogether too predictable.
