I saw that they had this wonderful book on the Crusades in two volumes (the first being a facsimile of the Mediaeval manuscript in French, with all the illuminations, the second being their critical apparatus and *sigh* translation) for half price and so I bought it. Then I bought three more books. This is after the Folio Society débâcle of a few days ago (about eight volumes, about $500) and the amazon.fr purchases (seven volumes, about the same price).
