How did you like it?

I loved it.

What were the goods and bads of the book?

As already mentioned here Sanderson's usual strengths in regards to his unique magic systems and take on religion shine here. Some slower sections, though I was not in the least bit put off.

How is it's format? (typical hero/quest epic, something different)

Definitely less cookie cutter than many fantasy epics, but it still feels as if there is a purpose behind everything going on even if you don't know what this is at all times.

What's unique about it.....i.e., what is the Sanderson spin?

As mentioned above, Magic systems and religion are unique and fun. Great last minute slap in the face and solid character development.

After the end of book 1, do you know where the rest of the series is heading?

Where it's heading if not where it's ending yes. You definitely get a pretty good idea of some of the crazy stuff about to start going down.

How does it compare to book 1 of other beloved epic series?

Very well. It gets everything a first novel needs done while remaining an exciting read in its own right.

Are you eager to read book 2?

Hell yes!

Thanks!
