No, I'm not starting a thread for October reads...or at least not alone. Just a few questions:

1. Do you try to read "darker" fictions in October compared to other months?

No. What would prompt such a thought?
2. Have you read (or heard of) any of the following: Michael Cisco, Thomas Ligotti, Ramsey Campbell, Poppy Z. Brite, Caitlín Kiernan?

Heard of Cisco, Ligotti and Kiernan. The closest thing to reading any of them is seeing the odd tweet.
3. What is your main excuse for not reading and/or reviewing fictions?

4. Have you heard that Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus is one of THE books to be published this year? If so, have you bought it or are considering reading it?

Hadn't heard of it.
5. Art Spiegelman's Metamaus comes out on October 4. Two-parter:

A. Do you know who Art Spiegelman is?

He's the guy who wrote Maus.
B. Are you intrigued by the book?

Not overly.
That's enough for now. It's getting late.
