And I really must try not to read it again immediately.

I started it in Italian a while back, but had to put it to one side. Perhaps I should pick it up again.

I think the novel is called "postmodern" because it to such an extent draws on collage and parody and overt intertextuality, all of which are among the main markers of postmodern literature.
