How important is knowledge of Christianity for the book? I avoided reading the plot summary on wikipedia to avoid spoilers.
I don't think it's that important, unless you want an in depth analysis of everything. But it's been awhile since I read it so I could be wrong.
We can find out as we go through and any questions you might have could be answered?
