Thanks for the review! I was a big Williams fan while reading Memory, Sorrow & Thorn and of course the wonderful Otherland. At the time I even scavenged his Caliban's Hour book, and found another by him and another author about storytelling and vampires that was very good (can't recall the name now). I even didn't mind his fairyland one-shot book, though it didn't exactly rattle my shingles. But then the Shadowmarch series did me in, bored me to tears, didn't engage me at all, and I gave up after the first book and haven't read anything by him since. Hearing that he's back in finer form and doing urban fantasy definitely perks my interest, and I will very likely give this a whirl.

Looks good, but I'm a bit wearied of the "God-as-inactive-being" trope.
